KSBK’s Board of Directors has collectively decided to resign, with our final day of service being August 26, 2026. This was not a decision made lightly. We remain committed to an orderly transition and to giving KSBK members the opportunity to determine the Society’s next chapter.
All remaining KSBK classes in August are free. September classes will be cancelled and replaced with dance socials. Please continue to check the KSBK Calendar and social media for the latest classes, socials, and community events.
KSBK members are invited to attend a Special General Meeting (SGM) on September 16, 2026. Members will be asked to consider important matters concerning KSBK’s governance, bylaws, and transition to a new Board of Directors. Under KSBK’s bylaws, members are entitled to attend and vote at general meetings.
KSBK (Kelowna Salsa Bachata Kizomba Society) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit group that grows Kelowna’s Latin and Afro dance scene by offering weekly Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba lessons, creating welcoming spaces to dance and meet people, and organizing dance socials to bring the community together.
KSBK membership is the best way to stay connected, save on classes, and support a growing local dance community. Members enjoy discounted pricing on weekly classes and select events and occasional surprises throughout the year. If you come regularly, your membership pays for itself through class savings alone. Your membership also helps us keep classes running, bring in great instructors, and create more social dance opportunities in Kelowna.
